In my life, there was a significant moment where I acted on impulse. There was a company, arguably my biggest career aspiration, to which I longed to belong. Gaining entry was exceedingly challenging. However, one day, an opportunity presented itself, and I succeeded. But as this happened, a strange feeling washed over me. Should I abandon my current workplace, where I am valued and appreciated? In that moment, I made a swift decision and promptly turned down the job offer. It was an empowering feeling, and I have never regretted losing what could have been the pinnacle of my career. That’s the story.
