While I strive to plan each day consciously, deep down, I believe in living for the present because we never truly know what the future holds. One constant priority each day is to take my dog for a walk every morning and evening. That task always takes the top spot on my list.
In what ways does hard work make you feel fulfilled?
Working diligently always yields results, in my opinion. I believe that putting your best knowledge and effort into your work is the only way to approach it. After a hard day’s work, feeling pleasantly tired and looking back with satisfaction at what you’ve accomplished is a truly gratifying experience. Of course, it requires a genuine love for what you do to achieve this level of fulfillment.
This question navigates delicate waters, for there’s a saying that self-praise has an unpleasant odor. Nonetheless, let me attempt to pinpoint a quality. Perhaps, it would be patience with people. It’s a trait I strive to embody and find that it resonates well with my interactions. 😊
List three jobs you’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter.
In a world where financial concerns don’t dictate our choices, envisioning our dream professions can be an exhilarating exercise. Here are three careers that have always captivated my imagination:
Locomotive Engineer: As a child, the allure of being a locomotive engineer was magnetic, a dream shared by many young boys. The thought of steering a powerful locomotive and the rhythmic clatter of wheels on tracks still holds a nostalgic charm. The wind in my hair and the tracks stretching into the horizon—a true adventure on rails.
Airplane Pilot: The fascination with the miracle of flight has always been a part of my life. To be at the controls of an airplane, defying gravity and soaring through the skies, is a testament to human ingenuity and engineering marvels. The responsibility and the sheer awe of being thousands of feet above the ground is a humbling yet exhilarating prospect.
Drilling Master: In reality, I am living my dream as a drilling master. The satisfaction of working in a profession that aligns with my passion is a gift. The thrill of exploring the depths of the Earth, the precision required, and the feeling of accomplishment when a project is completed successfully make every day in this profession fulfilling.
Embracing these dreams without financial constraints would be an extraordinary journey. However, even in the reality of a career path, I’m grateful to have found my passion and pursued it wholeheartedly. On a related note, I’m excited to share that my second book on this topic has recently been published. If you’re interested in delving deeper into these dream professions and the journeys associated with them, feel free to explore more on my website.
Dreams know no boundaries, and imagining a world where we pursue them unreservedly is a reminder of the possibilities that lie within us. Let’s keep dreaming and reaching for the stars. ✈️🚂🌟
What aspects of your cultural heritage are you most proud of or interested in?
I take pride in and am particularly interested in aspects of Hungarian culture that emphasize uniqueness and unity. I appreciate the strong sense of community that is characteristic of Hungarians, as well as the values and traditions passed down through centuries, such as Hungarian Culture Day and the national holiday on August 20th. Hungarian folk art, including embroidery, folk dance, traditional instruments, and melodies, holds great significance for me. These elements provide a broad and rich cultural background that I deeply value as part of my Hungarian identity.
I don’t have strict preferences regarding brands, but I do have a few associations. For my car, I prefer Honda; my phone choice leans towards Apple, and when it comes to sportswear, Nike is my go-to. On a more serious note, I appreciate high-quality items, allowing me to use them for an extended period. This is especially true for things like shoes—durability matters, and good quality ensures I can use a pair for a long time.
I find it challenging to conceal my disagreement or perception of unfairness, especially when I lack understanding in a matter. However, I recognize the potential benefits of practicing tolerance more frequently. I make efforts to cultivate this virtue, but apparently, it’s evident on my face when something doesn’t sit right with me. Striking a balance between expressing my views and embracing tolerance remains an area I’d like to improve upon.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Throughout my life, I’ve been fortunate to receive a plethora of valuable advice, making it hard to recall them all. I do my best to heed this wisdom. However, one piece that has stayed with me is “dare to be yourself and pursue your dreams passionately.” These words have become ingrained in me, and I strive to live my life embracing my true self and actively working towards turning my dreams into reality.
I believe, like for most people, the feeling of success is what energizes me the most. However, when I think about intangible aspects, family and love are the greatest motivating forces in the world. The love and support from my family fuel my drive and provide the energy needed to navigate life’s endeavors.
One album that holds a special place in my heart is Depeche Mode’s “Violator” (1989–1990). It brings forth memories of a wonderful and eccentric childhood whenever I listen to it. The melodies and lyrics resonate with me in a profound way, making it a timeless favorite that always evokes a sense of nostalgia and joy.
